Syarat & Ketentuan

01Definitions

"Platform" means the YourMarketplace website at https://example.com together with all of its services. "User" means anyone who accesses the Platform. "Buyer" and "Seller" are Users who transact. "Escrow" means funds held temporarily by YourMarketplace as a neutral third party. "Verification" means the authenticity check performed by the YourMarketplace curation team.

02Accounts & Eligibility

• Users must be at least 18 years old, or have valid consent from a legal guardian.
• One person may hold only one account. The information you provide must be true, accurate, and current.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
• YourMarketplace may suspend any account showing signs of fraud, manipulation, or breach of these terms.

03Transactions & Escrow

• All payments must go through the YourMarketplace escrow system. Dealing outside the Platform is unprotected and prohibited.
• The Buyer's funds are held in escrow and released to the Seller only after the Buyer presses "Confirm Receipt", or after the confirmation window closes with no complaint.
• Items received by the Buyer must match the description, photos, condition, and certificate shown on the Platform at the time the transaction was agreed.
• In the event of a dispute, YourMarketplace may hold the funds until the matter is resolved.
• Service & escrow protection fee: 1% of the item price, minimum $1.00, with no upper cap — charged to the Buyer, shown at checkout, and identical across every payment method. YourMarketplace also charges the Seller a transaction commission of 3%–10% of the sale price (the exact figure is set by YourMarketplace and may be adjusted from time to time according to category, store badge — e.g. Founding Seller or Verified — or subscription plan). Every fee is shown transparently before a transaction is completed; there are no hidden deductions.

04Communication & Chat

• Communication between Buyer and Seller takes place through the official Chat feature inside the Platform.
• For the safety of all Users, the system automatically redacts phone numbers, physical addresses, email addresses, external messaging handles, and invitations to deal outside the Platform. Redacted messages are still logged for auditing and dispute handling.
• Repeatedly attempting to share private contact details or to move a deal outside escrow is a breach of these terms and may lead to account restriction or suspension.
• Any deal carried out outside the Platform — by any means, including through contact details exchanged in Chat — is entirely at the parties' own risk and responsibility, and falls outside YourMarketplace's protection and liability.

05Prohibited Conduct

• Using the Platform for fraud, money laundering, or any other illegal activity.
• Selling counterfeit, replica, or stolen goods, or anything that breaks the law or infringes intellectual property rights.
• Shill bidding (bidding on your own item, directly or through another account, to drive the price up).
• Inviting the other party to complete the deal outside escrow.

06Limitation of Liability

YourMarketplace provides the Platform "as is". Verification is carried out to a professional standard but is not an absolute guarantee. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourMarketplace is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the Platform.

07Changes & Governing Law

YourMarketplace may update these terms at any time; material changes will be announced through the Platform or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Platform is established. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation and, where necessary, through the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
